
It really looks like the ferry could have run today, but the ice is so fickle! Would you run the day after a freighter needed help? (Freighters are huge!)

I biked through some slush and puddles yesterday. Today only had solid ice.

There is definitely no ice bridge. (My husband took this on a flight off this afternoon):


Even though there is less ice than yesterday, today was much colder! The sunshine was deceiving- I should have worn a scarf! I don't remember the last time my chin was so cold!
