No Ice Bridge

Yesterday, there was enough ice for a freighter to get stuck. (The coast guard saved the day.) Today, the waters are amazingly open.




It really looks like the ferry could have run today, but the ice is so fickle! Would you run the day after a freighter needed help? (Freighters are huge!)




I biked through some slush and puddles yesterday. Today only had solid ice.




There is definitely no ice bridge. (My husband took this on a flight off this afternoon):








Even though there is less ice than yesterday, today was much colder! The sunshine was deceiving- I should have worn a scarf! I don't remember the last time my chin was so cold!
