Flight and Family Fun in the Soo

We flew off island today- perhaps our last flight off for the season? There's not much ice along the back of Mackinac Island:

...But there's a good deal of ice on the St. Ignace side:

Some folks shoveled a spot to skate!

There's the Mackinac Bridge!

We headed to the Soo for the annual CEF Family Fun Fair at the middle school!
A clown:

Decorating their bags:

Loving the bouncy castle:

Whack-a-Mole!

Big sister ended up knocking these cans over:

And little sister enjoyed shooting hoops... Errr, throwing the ball a couple feet towards the hoop:

A puppet show:

I love downtown Sault Ste. Marie! If we lived closer, I'd find a way to get involved with the Soo Theatre.

Passing the international bridge:

We did some shopping. Our kindergartener practiced her letters (our vehicle needs a good wash):

Congratulations to the St. Ignace Lady Saints on their state championship today! So exciting!

Here's our treasure of the day- a family picture! Thank you to all the volunteers who gave the girls such a fun afternoon!

And for fun- here are pictures from my sister and her husband in Chicago. They watched the river turn green today! Don't forget to wear green tomorrow :)
