Rain Again

If you are going to raise children on Mackinac Island, rain boots and a rain coat are a must! The umbrella is more for fun.

There is a certain majesty to some flowers, even in the rain.




Reflections in a puddle. Earlier, both girls stomped in this puddle. They both had their puddle-stompers on! Since horses pass here regularly, we don't touch the puddle with our hands!



Today we had a power outage. Glow sticks were great fun in a dark room. The lower one is held by a chubby toddler hand. Power was restored pretty quickly, which was in the best interest for dinner.
