You might notice orange fencing in some photos. It is only up in the winter and protects the greens and other landscaping from snowmobiles! Parts have collapsed under the weight of all the snow!

There's a lot more to Mission Point's property- these pictures were all taken from the main road, missing places such as the Straits Lodge, theater, and pool. It was stunningly beautiful!
Location:Mackinac Island
Very pretty! So strange to think this was just Saturday, and yesterday, in the same state, I was running around in short sleeves sans coat, and had the windows open! Ah, Michigan weather.
ReplyDeleteIt's 52 degrees today on Mackinac Island- the gorgeous snow is all melting :( Michigan keeps us on our toes!
DeleteGorgeous! It looks like a winter fairy-land.
ReplyDeleteIt was literally breathtaking! Because it all came overnight, it was all fresh and undisturbed. It reminded me of Narnia in "the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe!"
DeleteJust beautiful! Thanks for sharing the pics!
ReplyDeleteThese pics are absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Wish we could be there on the island during the winter. We were there back in August when it was an absolutely gorgeous, 70 degree sunshiney day & rode bikes around the island---couldn't have picked a nicer day to have been there then!! But seeing these snow pics just takes my breath away at how gorgeous God's handiwork can be!!!
ReplyDeleteI love perfect days on Mackinac Island! Glad you caught one in summer- this season has had few "perfect winter days" but last weekend was definitely winter perfection!
DeleteBeautiful pictures! How blessed you are to live on the Island year round!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are gorgeous! You know I'm going to grab some for next week's blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love it when you use my pictures :)
DeleteGreat pictures. I used to work in Mission point a few years ago...The whole island is so beautiful...Miss this place. Thanks for the pictures.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! Simply beautiful! There is nothing like a new fallen snow covering everything. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photographs at my favorite resort. :o)
